FAQ’s

Why are team sheets being introduced?

In order to ensure that teams play only players that are registered to their club/teams, we have introduced team sheets for youth divisions as well as adult divisions this season. Teams will be required to submit full names of the players, as well as team names, the competition (League, Cup, Plate or Trophy game), referee details and kit colour. This information is to be exchanged with your opposition, and a copy is required to be kept by your club. Throughout the season your Divisional Secretary may ask for a copy of your team sheet so they can cross-reference with Full Time Admin and Competition Portal. It is vitally important that the information you submit on your match card is accurate, as any discrepancy may lead to a query and further action.

Are team sheets required for all ages?

Yes – including development football and all competitions/matches. Separate team sheets will be provided by Norfolk FA (online) for County Cup competitions

Who do we need to send them to?

You need to provide a copy to the opposition prior to kick off and keep a club copy for reference. For Adult teams, you are also required to give a copy to the appointed referee.

What do we do if a team sheet isn’t provided by the opposition?

Speak to the opposition manager, they may have simply forgotten to exchange it. If it is still not provided then report it to your Divisional Secretary who will investigate and issue a charge if necessary

What happens if you suspect an opposition player is ineligible?

Again, report it to your Divisional Secretary who will investigate and issue a charge if necessary
